We woke up, ate a big breakfast and continued towards Regina. On the way, we saw a bunch of accidents....one of them included a totally smashed motor home...maybe touring in March is a bad idea. When we got to Regina, we went to a really good brew-pub that we discovered on our last trip to Regina called Bushwakkers....half way through our meal, a terrible folk singer started playing. He sounded like a super serious, witty Raffi....we left....not to be asses, but it hurt our spirit. Then we went to the club to soundcheck...Brad told one of the District employees that he saw a ghost last time he was in here....he did... floating in the back corner of the club. the story spooked the empoyee. Good show. That's it. Adam.

Drive Day from Fort St. John towards Regina
Today was all about spinning out on the icy roads. We spun out just before Mannville, then we skid right off the road just past it. The road was so slippery, i couldn't keep us on the road....even doing 15km/h, so we stopped in Vermillion. Ryan was convinced there were bedbugs in the nasty motel we stayed in...itchy!...and Brad kept having nightmares about spinning out...they both had tough sleeps....mine was good. Dwayne "Dog" Chapman was on a late night talk show....i can't remember which one, anyways, my final thought of the night was about how strange his yellow tassled outfit was. Then I was out. Adam.

Fort St. John, BC @ Egan's
Swam a bit today.....waterslide too! Nice. Then Brad, Ryan and I rented "Waiting" in our room. Okay, to the show....we played a pretty short set tonight, then The Mini's, some patrons and us played a ton of covers we didn't know..."Don't Fear The Reaper", "Keep On Rockin' In The Free World"....a couple of Ween songs....and a bunch more. We all drank a lot again, crazy night. Adam.

Fort St. John, BC @ Egan's
We were treated like kings by Jason George (Egan's main man). He fed us the best prime rib on the planet.....yessss! Really fun set, by the end of the night, Jason, The Miniatures and us were destroyed!....we played with the mini's....i have to work on my story telling skills. Anyways, the night ended with me trying to focus on a television screen, while playing NHL 06. Good night! Adam.

Edmonton, AB @ The Power Plant
Massive snow storm...black ice....we saw at least 40-50 cars in the ditch on the road from Calgary to Edmonton today...no exaggeration, it looked apocalyptic. The show had a decent turnout, considering the size of the storm and amount of snow. We played, it was good. A bunch of our friends came out tonight....Brad's cousin Jay did a post show drum solo....our Friend M.C. tagged the back of our van and our cases, so now we have more writing on the back of our van...."yurt!" is still my favorite, even though I don't understand it, or know who wrote it. Oh, and we were stolen from again today....this time it was our bottles of rum and vodka from our dressing room....nice. -Adam.

Calgary, AB @ The Liberty Lounge
Went swimming, then for lunch....waited over an hour for our food at Moxie's...to the show, it was St.Patrick's Day...the room was full of green plastic and oversized green felt hats. Green beer too. The show was alright. I drank a bit too much. The one strange thing about tonight was Baxter's presence...he finally arrived. -Adam.

Winnipeg, MB @ The Pyramid
The show was alright...and at some point of the day I declared that I think Nick Cave "sounds like an angry goth pirate in a Doors cover band"....I'm probably wrong...but the real highlight was the following morning...the morning of March 15th. Paul (our friend and fill-in tour manager) and I woke up to a phone call saying "there's a van in the parking lot with a smashed window, it might be yours". Then Paul said "it might not be ours".....and I said.."oh, it's definitely ours". Surely enough it was ours. First off, it was absolutely stunning how cold it was outside....this threw some salt in the wounds....and we're all tired/hung over...and they smashed both front windows...not one, hit unlock, then open the other door.....both windows!! anyways, the thieves threw every single thing we had in the van all over the place....food was out of wrappers, shit was all around the car....it looked like they spent the entire night looking through everything. We lost all our guitars, cymbals, etc. everything that was small enough to carry. Ryan and Brad were in a different room from Paul and I, so I had to let them know. I woke them up, they came downstairs....shitty way to wake up. Brad had some serious sentimental attatchment to his main guitar, so, in anger or sadness, or both, he just walked away to clear his head. Which left Paul, Ryan and I to take a freezing, window free drive to the wreckers in the area to find new/used windows....and what a strange, angry world, the world of auto wreckers can be. We found one wrecker window and had to pay sixteen million dollars for the other one new. Got them replaced and done. Had a shower, watched Super Troopers, then continued on the road to Calgary. -Adam.

Drive out west (Canada)
March 12th: Nice, easy drive. The car has just been fixed, so the lighter is finally working again....which means, we have the PS2 & tv back up and runnin'...and our portable dvd players can run off car power. Easy day. Stopped in Blind River and slept in a fantastic bed.
March 13th: Drove through a massive snow storm all day, lighter plug also stopped working, so we're PS2 & tv-less and dvd plug-less. At around 6pm, we drove into White River. The snow was so bad the highway got closed....we tried to keep driving, but quickly got pulled over and escorted back to town. Slept in White River. -Adam.
