Hamilton, ON @ The Underground

Another benefit show, this time for the Red Cross and the Hurrican Relief. Shared the stage with Teenage Head, and Kasser. Eclectic bill. We only played a short set but were glad to help out and raise some money for the cause. Thanks to everyone who came out. Then we egged houses and toilet papered trees since it was devil's night. Adam shit in a bag and set it on fire at the doorstep of the principals house. -Ryan.

Windsor, ON @ University of Windsor

This was a benefit show for the Earthquake in Pakistan. We played with Bif Naked. The venue was in the track and field gymnasium.. massive. While we were in the dressing room Brad hid our tour manager, Duke (or Count Duke's if you like), laptop in a locker which angered the Count. What else... fun day, ate Indian, tried to bounce gumballs off the floor into Brad's mouth... did not succeed. -Ryan.

Tokyo, Japan @ Astro Hall

Japan: We were taken care of very well by our Japanese label "Imperial Records" and promoters "Smash". Everything thing was sorted out for us and left us free to have a good, stress free time in Japan. Tokyo is an amazing city. The city is very clean and safe. The shops all have their own identity, unlike our mall mentality in Canada....not many cookie cutter stores. We stayed in a district called Hirijuku. Everybody was dressed up...the fashion sense here puts ours to shame. Everybody's dressed like a runway model. We had a press day during our stay as well and the interviews were fun and strange.....we had an interpreter to middle man the conversations. I'm rambling....but that's okay. After the press day, Brad and our manager Dan flew to Fukuyoka for additional press and an acoustic set. On the night Brad was in Fukuyoka, Ryan and I walked to a district of Tokyo very close to Hirirjuku called Shinjuku, where we heard the night life was alive. We walked through the redlight district, where for some reason we were like wounded fish in a shark tank. We were mauled by big guys in leather trench coats who kept trying to literally pull us into "sex dens". We quickly got out of the area and found a normal bar. We met some cool people there and ended up going to a punk rock bar called something like "Rock and Roll Mother"...I can't remember the name exactly. It could maybe hold 10 people....Seriously! We kept drinking beer and ordering songs off of a menu full of punk songs. No food or drink menu....just a song menu. We screamed Clash, Television and Generation X songs with our new Japanese friends, then cabbed back to our hotel at around 3am. Oh, I just wanted to tell you about a strange fast food item we ate here....everybody was eating these saucy looking soft ball sized dough balls in a small cardboard dish, so we ordered one. It was a cheesy dough ball filled with what can best be described as potato custard, sliced up hot dogs, squid, and a small golf ball sized soft boiled egg....I don't know what kind of bird it came from. Drizzled on top of the ball was something that looked like thousand island dressing. It didn't taste very good, but it was an experience. -Adam.

The show itself was worth the 14 hour plane ride. The room was full of people singing along to our songs. It's the first time that we've been in a country with a different language that knew our songs. Very fun to do. -Ryan.

London, ON @ Call The Office

The show tonight was great! The crowd was signing and jumping around. At one point Brad handed a tambourine down to the crowd and told them to play along for a while and pass it around. So for the entire set I could hear and see different people playing along. We played a longer set than we usually do, because the crowd was so much fun. London's a good time! We can't wait to come back. Happy Birthday Little Brad. -Adam.

Windsor, ON @ The Avalon Front

I've been told my posts are too often negative, so from on if my post is going to be too far on the negative side of the fence I will simply write nothing. Nothing. -Adam.

Kingston, ON @ Elixir

I took Brad to the edge of sanity and back in the back room tonight. I pestered him until it looked like he would crack...that's one thing that happened. We played a show, that's another. Good crowd. Ryan and I made a deal with Duke, that we would drive half way home tonight after the show. We were a little tipsy, but nothing a slice of pizza, a bottle of water and three hours couldn't cure....but he didn't believe us. He feared for his and our safety. I wouldn't drive drunk...Duke you gotta believe me. We're no fools. I don't know why I'm telling you (the readers)this....I guess I can only say "good show, nice turnout, fun set" so many times. Oh, man! Couple a terrible memory with a regular/average night like this was and this is what kind of entry you get. -Adam.

Barrie, ON @ The Foundation

Our van broke down half way between Hamilton and Barrie. We thought it could be the end of Off-White Lightning. We waited for about an hour for a tow, threw rocks, wasted time. We ended up getting towed on a flatbed tow truck to The Foundation in Barrie. When we got there the driver angled the van so we could open the back doors and unload into the venue. After we finished loading in, Duke (tour manager) and the tow truck driver took the van to Canadian Tire. We waited around, ate pizza, soundchecked, then The Count Duke came back and told us the mechanics couldn't find anything wrong with it. So we drove it home and she's been strong for us ever since. -Adam.
