This was an outdoor festival in Buffalo. We got there quite early, hung around, drank beer and watched the bands. Our set was good. The crowd was receptive, but there’s always something strange about playing street/city festivals. It’s like 75% of the crowds (street/city festival crowds in general) never watch live music and most definitely never pay to see live bands, so they’re usually really happy to see live music, sometimes they're scared by it…..why not just go to shows more often?….they’re not that expensive usually. The other weird thing is they usually don’t know much or anything by the bands they’re watching….because it’s free, people will just check it out. It exposes band’s music to people who would never go see them and exposes people to music they would never usually be exposed to. I’m not complaining or championing street festival crowds, just talking. I don’t know why. You don’t really care. Do you? After our set we continued to drink heavily (I’m not bragging, or glorifying it, just telling you what happened….kids….do not drink, it’s bad for you and will eventually make you fat, lazy and stupid!). So there was Brad, Ryan, Dan/DeeJay (our manager) and I drinking a lot and nobody told us how many were ours, so to make a long story short, I think we pissed of other bands and drank their beer….sorry, the event lady just said here is beer, go nuts. After many more, there was dancing, pizza, hugging, me harassing a bouncer….a real angry, I'm a bouncer and this is how tough guys should act bouncer, he had the whole I hate everybody thing happening….super funny really. An Ice bar, a bar with chewed gum on it...Anyways, tonight was a spinning top. –Adam.

Toronto, ON @ Liberty Grand
This was good fun, but very weird. We played at a poker tournament put on by Labatt Blue. We walked in and hung around for a bit while the tournament was going on. When the players went on lunch break we loaded in, set up and kind of soundchecked. When the players returned we played two songs for them. There were a lot of people here, so this isn’t as weird and awkward as it may sound. Then we had a lunch break and sat around for a couple of hours until the tournament was done. When it all finished we played a full set, but now there were go-go dancers dancing, a mime with a mini guitar on stilts playing air guitar, a weird white ghost thing on really big stilts shaking his/her arms and Vegas showgirls walking around. Six songs into our set a car drove into the middle of the audience...I don't know why. Like I said, fun and weird. –Adam.

North Bay, ON @ Wylder's
There was a beach. Brad wanted to go swimming. I thought the beach would be rocky, foamy and typically Ontarian, so I decided to sit in the bar and wait for the show. Brad and Ryan went, swam and came back refreshed. The show was a regular show. After the show we packed up and left for Hamilton, but within five minutes we had all decided to go swimming again (again for Brad and Ryan). We drove on the beach ignoring the “no cars on beach” sign and the van got stuck. A couple of beach bums helped us push out the van and we parked, then swam….nice beach by the way. There’s still sand in our van. –Adam.
