Cuxhaven, Germany @ Deichbrand Festival

Today started off with Ryan losing his wallet in the super muddy hay covered field that the festival took place in. Not a good thing. We also had a bit of vehicle trouble...the van couldn't handle the muddy conditions, so a tractor had to tow our van and us to the backstage area. By this point of the tour, we were totally on fire! Really good set! After the set we hung out in the VIP area and got smashed with the promoter. Then, an American Football enthusiast and security guy named Schabby found and returned Ryan's wallet totally intact! Later Schabby told me a joke that I really didn't get....I don't know if it was the German accent, or if the joke actually made no sense....something about a cannibal and a kitten or something like that. The night ended with us hotel-less...the reason's unclear, but it happened. Drunk and tired praying and praying for bed, we were saved by the promoter, who hooked us up with a room. - Adam.

Hamburg, Germany @ Gruner Jager

Woke up this morning to a great home cooked breakfast and the news that Jon Bonnet Ramsey's killer had turned himself in....very weird man! After breakfast we had a semi-quiet drive to from Bonn to Hamburg. We had a good show tonight and after our set we took it to Hamburg with our friends from Heartbreak Motel! We saw had a slew of beers, walked around Hamburg, saw way too many hookers walking the streets and then ended the night at a karaoke bar, where Brad won a rating of "professional" for his rendition of "Livin' La Vida Loca". Oh and Ryan got lost walking back to the hotel solo and finally arrived three hours later than the rest of us. -Adam.

Bonn, Germany @ The Klangstation

As written in my diary....(with some extras)....

-Today everybody was in a very content, quiet mood & we all had some "alone time" = pretty boring day! (necessary for sanity on the road....but I wasn't in the quiet mood today)
- Slow start to the set tonight...the monitors were feedbacking and the room was pretty tame.
-Everything worked out & we had a great show with a lot of dancing in the crowd.
-Got back to weird "hotel" that felt way too much to me like my Oma and Opa's...very strange. (big empty building/hotel thingy but crammed with a lifetime of collected things)
-Listened to "Robocop Kraus" on old Bose ghetto blaster.
-Slept very well!
-This was the only hotel with clocks....and there were 5 per room! (this is true...answer me this Germany...where are all your clocks?) -Adam.

Wurzburg, Germany @ AKW

Outside my hotel window was a giant slug. I picked it up with a stick and put it Brad's bed. It wasn't harmed and was safely returned to where it came from. The city was closed, today's a German bank holiday, so we were stuck in the hotel all day and watched some of the worst television ever made first was "Date My Mom" and all the rest were CKY and Jackass spin-offs (and we like CKY & Jackass) and they were all on the only English television station....MTV. Later had some keish that everyone liked but me. To the show....Terrible monitors, but the set went well anyways. We played with an amazing German band called Robocop Kraus, they were so good it dazed me...they sounded kind of like what The Talking Heads might sound like if they formed in this decade.

Ryan fell out of bed while screaming in his sleep in the middle of the night. Very funny. -Adam.

Rothenburg, Germany - Day Off

Here's the straight goods, exactly as printed in my diary....

-Spent all day walking, shopping and church looking etc.
-Went to Torture Museum.
-Hightlights were humiliation masks.
-Went to X-Mas Museum and saw 500 year old dough Santa ornament.
-Decided to take it easy tonight, so we went to a bar called Rock Cafee & drank 8-12 pints each...hung out with American college basketball team (from E-Town Philly)
-No Germans here, only Americans and Japanese.
-Bartender threw out Americans for stealing pint glasses...then I bought one from her for 3 Euros.
-Fairytale land...very real Disney.
-Ate good pizza.

...and there it is....read and learn from the mind of a genius. -Adam.
